The El Torreon is located in the historic Hyde Park area of Kansas City, just a few blocks west of Main Street in Midtown. The El Torreon is the grand building at the southwest corner of Gillham and 31st at 3101 Gillham Plaza.

Parking is available by the entrance on the north side of the building. Bands should load their gear through the large garage doors on the west side of the building along Gillham. For most shows, load-in is at 6pm or one hour before the FIRST band plays.

Out of town directions:

• From the North or South: Travel I-35 towards Kansas City. Take the Southwest Blvd exit and head northwest into the city. At 31st Street, go east (hang a right) and proceed to Gillham Plaza.
  
• From the East or West: Travel towards Kansas City on I-70 into downtown Kansas City. Take the Broadway exit and head south for a few miles to 31st Street where you'll take a left, and proceed five or so blocks to El Torreon at the corner of 31st and Gillham.
